Responsibilities:

• Planning, designing, and executing performance tests for applications to simulate and test traffic under real conditions.
• Using JMeter to create and implement performance testing scenarios.
• Analyzing and interpreting test results to identify potential performance and scalability issues.
• Close collaboration with development and operations teams to resolve identified performance issues.
• Documenting and reporting test results and recommendations for improvements.
• Participating in defining performance requirements and setting testing objectives.

To perform in this role, we would like you to have:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in performance testing of software applications.
• Expertise in using JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Solid knowledge about communication protocols (e.g., HTTP, RESTful APIs, TCP/IP, Websockets).
• Experience in testing APIs and web services.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify problem areas.
• Knowledge about the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).

Additionally, it would be great to see that you:

• Experience with other performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, Gatling).
• Knowledge about Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and profiling tools.
• Experience with distributed architectures.
